Infinite Containers are building blocks for the creative maker: a customizable, modular system of stackable containers and accessories designed for 3D printing. With over 1,000 STL files available for download, this ever-expanding collection offers limitless possibilities to create modern, stylish designs for home decor. From desk organizers and bathroom accessories to kitchen essentials, lamps, planters, and vases, each object embodies simplicity, elegance, and sustainability.

Designed Together

At its core, the collection reimagines everyday objects. Most functional items are essentially containers defined by their purpose. Through the choice of form, size, material, and color they become a toothbrush holder, a flower vase, a waste basket… Infinite Containers invites the maker to make these choices, and through the power of 3D printing, to become a crucial part of the design process, determining the function and final appearance of each piece.

Dimensions and Scaling

The collection includes four series, each identified by a unique code. The first set of digits specifies the series and container’s inner diameter (in millimeters), ensuring compatibility for stacking and rotation. The second set of digits reflects the height of the container, excluding the 4mm nesting base. Containers from different series can be combined as needed. 

Whenever possible, we recommend avoiding scaling the components and adopting a consistent color scheme. This will allow you to easily combine existing containers, print new accessories to repurpose them, or add components to a set as your needs grow.

When necessary, we recommend scaling our Infinite Containers up proportionally, this will maintain the original design’s aesthetic and avoid fitting issues.

Infinite Containers 68 Series: 
Small Containers
Inner cavity diameter: 68 mm (2.68”)
Ideal for minimalist desk accessories, bathroom accessories, makeup and small tool organizers, tealight lanterns, bedside lamps, pendant lamps, mini planters, and small flower vases.

Infinite Containers 96 Series: 
Medium/Small Containers
Inner cavity diameter: 96 mm (3.78”)
Perfect for larger desk and bathroom accessories, kitchen containers, tool caddies, small planters, small table lamps, pendant lamps, and flower vases.

Infinite Containers 128 Series: 
Medium Containers
Inner cavity diameter: 128 mm (5.04”)
Suitable for luxurious desk organizers, soap dishes, jewelry boxes, pasta containers, kitchen tool caddies, planters, table lamps, pendant lamps, small waste bins, and large flower vases.

Infinite Containers 162 Series: 
Medium/Large Containers
Inner cavity diameter: 162 mm (6.38”)
Designed for large kitchen containers, medicine bins, personal accessories organizers, large planters, table lamps, pendant lamps, waste bins, and sumptuous flower vases.

In our catalogs, each series is differentiated by color-coded icons.

Infinite Containers Components

Containers
There are four primary container shapes in the collection: square, round, hexagonal, and rectangular. All containers within the same series can be stacked and will playfully rotate on top of each other (with some limitations for rectangular shapes).

Slotted Containers
A variation of the standard containers, slotted containers include a vertical cutout, designed for applications requiring lateral access for drainage, wiring, or mounting hardware, such as lamp bases or soap dishes.

Pierced Containers
Designed for applications requiring bottom or top access, pierced containers feature openings also intended for drainage, wiring, or mounting hardware, as in the case of lamp shades or planters. The hole is pre-sized to accommodate an E26/E27 lamp socket, additional accessories like lamp socket adapters and planter drain inserts complement the containers in specific applications.

Accessories
Accessories enhance the Infinite Containers collection, transforming these simple 3D-printed objects into fully functional, stylish products.

Lids
Lids provide a cover while adding flair and functionality to the containers. They come in various styles to suit different applications.

Finials
Finials attach to specific lids via threaded connections, serving as knobs or handles to easily hold the lids. Like the lids, they also contribute to the set’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Stands
Stands elevate the containers, enhancing their presence in any home or office setting. They can also function independently as plant risers or display bases.

Extensions
Extensions can be used to overcome the limitations of a 3D printer build volume, to add playfulness to an object through rotating sections, or to repurpose an existing container that may be too short for the new intended use.

Other Accessories
Additional accessories, such as louvered racks and lamp socket adapters, further expand the versatility of our Infinite Containers. While they are often designed for specific uses, their flexible nature allows makers to explore new creative applications.
